Field barn. Dated 1838. Ashlar limestone, brick lined within, clay plain tiles to three courses Welsh slate at eaves, coped verges. Long barn with deep central gabled cartways with lofts over; that to north has wood cambered lintel in segmental voussoir arch with keystone bearing inscription TC 1838, under a square opening to loft, and a gable bulls-eye in square field; to left three ventilation slits at two levels, and to right two similar. East gable has fine elliptical arch with keystone under 2 + 1 slits and a bulls-eye opening. South porch as north, but no loft opening or date.
Interior 4:1:3 bays very heavy tie beam and 'queen post' roof with 2 purlins. A good example of well constructed farm building using Painswick stone.
