House with post office on end of row. c1720; late C19 additions
to rear. Ashlar limestone, random rubble and brick to sides and
rear; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic;
double depth plan with rear wing. Front: 3-window fenestration,
segmental arched 18-pane sashes with thick glazing bars to upper
floor with keyed moulded architraves, bull-nosed sills, keystones
taken up into moulded eaves. Mixed fenestration to ground floor,
one original 12-pane sash, another reduced in size by letterbox.
Doorway to right with 6-panel door and blocked rival fanlight.
Canopy projection above ground floor. Interior not inspected.
