Barn with outbuilding. Late C18. Random rubble limestone; stone
slate and concrete tile roof. Ten-bay barn with east porch and
outbuilding to west. Gabled east porch has corrugated iron doors
and timber lintel, small square hole, possibly to former
columbarium. C20 open-fronted lean-to to right is not of special
interest. Square barn vents. Loft doorway to left of porch with
stone steps. South end appears rebuilt with doorways having
concrete lintels. West barn doorway in line with east porch.
Gabled outbuilding attached to left possibly horse engine house.
Interior: barn has dividing wall, 7-bays to south end and 3 other
bays having collar and tie-beam truss roof, partially rebuilt.
Pigeon holes within loft of porch. Although having various minor
alterations, this barn is unusually long and typical of the major
south Cotswold barn type.
