II
Barn. Dated 'T.H. 1805' for Thomas Hancox. Random rubble
limestone; stone slate roof. Five-bay barn with east and west
porches. Gabled central porch to each side, doorway with timber
lintel; 2-light timber loft opening in each gable with timber
lintel, east porch with owl hole. Slit vents to south gable end
and owl hole. Interior: 5-bay collar and tie-beam truss roof; 2
rows of purlins; loft to each porch. Roof in poor condition at
time of survey (July 1986).
