GV II

C17, C18. 2 storeyed timber framed structure with overhang on brackets of 1st
floor. Red tile hipped roof, tile-hanging to 1st floor has decorative bands
(Surrey type). Ground floor walling of red brickwork. 2 small casements on
front projection, 1 casement and plain door on ground floor. This and Rambles
Cottage, forming one unit, was the Old Manor House, the junction now marked by
a shafted brick chimney stack.
