SU 35 SE TANGLEY WILDHERN

5/10 Old Plough Farmhouse

II

House. Late C18. Flint and brick, with a thatch roof. Symmetrical wide
front (south) of 2 storeys, 3 windows (and 2 doorways). Hipped roof, catslide
at rear, brick dentil eaves. Flint walls with brick quoins, bands at 1st floor
cill, 1st floor, ground floor cill, and plinth levels, cambered openings.
Casements. 2 plain doorways, on the east side with a round arch and 3-pane
fanlight. C20 extension of 3 storeys in the centre of the rear, with ½-hipped
roof.
