Cottage. Early C18 2 bay cottage with further bay added in mid C19. Partially
timberframed,the front painted brick. Half-hipped thatched roof with eyebrow
dormers. 2 dormers, splayed at base. Ground floor has 3 casements with cambered
heads. Off central doorcase with plank door and flat moulded and dentillated
wooden cornice with wooden brackets. 1 storey C19 extension of lower elevation to
left hand side with one 4 light casement and Dutch door. Plinth outshot to rear.
Interior has spine beam chamfered and with lambs tongue step and an inglenook fire-
place with beehive-shaped bread oven. Winder staircase. Queen post roof and exposed
wall framing, all of thin scantling. One 6 fielded panelled door of early C19 type
and plank door, probably brought in.
