GV II
House. C15, C18, mid C19, with C20 restoration and minor extension. Brick and
tiles. A building of several phases, the earliest timber frame now being marked
by cladding. Front (north) of 2 storeys, 1.1.1.2.3 upper windows. The west side
has a steeply - pitched hipped roof with a low eaves, the east side 2 Victorian
gables and a flat-roofed C20 extension. Painted brickwork, cambered openings,
plinth; the gabled section hides the frame. Casements, Victorian sashes in the
gabled section, and a 2-storeyed angular bay (of 3 windows) at the west side.
Central C20 ½-octagon glazed porch, with tiled cheeks next to the main wall. The
rear (south) elevation is similar, with an open porch (the main entrance).
