Late C18 house, originally Holme's Charity School. Built 1786, under terms of
Trust founded by the Revd Edward Holme in 1775. Painted brick with modillion
eaves cornice to plain tiled roof. 2 storeys; 3 window facade. Cambered head
linings to windows; sash windows with glazing bars missing. Central 6 panel
door, top 2 panels removed and glazed. Late C19 gabled hood. 3 window, 1
storey extension to south.
