Public house. C18 and altered early C19. Painted brick and tile hung, with
rendered and tile hung right return. Plain tiled roof. Front range parallel to
road with 3 transverse hipped wings to rear. Two storeys with hips oberriding
ridge line and stacks to rear and projecting at end right. Three sashes with
vertical glazing bars on each floor, those on ground floor 4 panes wide and flanked
by iron hay-baskets. Two panelled doors (that to right half-glazed) to centre
left and to centre right, both with cornice on brackets. Single storey flat-roofed
lated C20 extension to right. Glazing bar sash on right return.
