walls, formerly to
Low Keverstone
II
Gate piers and walls formerly forming south entrance to Low Keverstone; route
now changed. Probably late C18. Sandstone ashlar. Castellated style, with
herringbone tooling. 2 tall square piers with plinths have widely-moulded
string beneath embattled coping. Stepped curved walls either side have plinths
and chamfered coping and end in short return parallel to road.
