Known as Rothmans. Probably C16-Cl7 in origin, with a later wing extending
on the west end. Much altered in the C18 and partly refaced in the Cl9. 2
storeys and attics. The front block is faced in white brick on the north and
east sides. The east front has 5 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars. The ground storey has a C20 shop front. Roof tiled, hipped, with 3 hipped
dormer windows on each of the north, east and south sides. The north side has
the remains of an old chimney stack with a moulded brick base. The interior
has good Cl7 and C18 features including C17 and C18 panelling, doors and a C17
staircase.
