Late C15 or C16 alterations, including raised roof and inserted floor to C14
hall house, remnants of which remain. Roof re-built and chimney stack built
in C17. Most of the frame is exposed internally. External appearance is largely
C20. 3 window range modern hardwood casements with leaded lights. Cement render
with applied imitation studwork. Modern timber porch with tiled roof. Red
plain tile roof. 3 gabled dormers, with bargeboards, finials, leaded lights
and pargetting showing acorns and oak leaves. No 59 is C18 externally with
some original plasterwork, and moulded door surround with simple pediment head.
Double hung sash windows with glazing bars.
