A range of Cl9 red brick almshouses. 1 storey. 12 window range, mullioned and transomed metal casements with leaded lattice lights, in plain reveals with 'Tudor' arched heads. A plaque on the west end states that the almshouses were
built about 1400 and rebuilt in 1869. The ends are gabled with barge boards carved with roses, horses heads and pelicans. Roofs tiled, with diagonally
set chimney stacks, with brick dentilled caps and moulded brick bases. There
is a serrated brick eaves course.
