Public House and 2 shops. Probably C17 with earlier core and later alterations
and additions including built-out C20 shop fronts 101 and 103. Timber framed
and rough rendered with gabled crosswings to right and left. Red plain tiled
roof with central gabled dormer and tiled outshot between tiled gable porch
and tiled, gabled bay window at right. 2 storeys and attics. Left crosswing
with early C20 3 light double hung sliding sash windows to ground and first
floors. C20 ½ glazed door with light over to porch. C20 transome and mullion
windows to outshot and bay. Arched batten decoration and bargeboards to
crosswing and small gables. The right crosswing with 1 window to attic and
2 windows to first floor, all of small paned casements. This wing part
weatherboard to right return. 3 red brick chimney stacks.
