Barn. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron. 5 bays
aligned NE-SW, with aisle on NW side only, and midstrey to SE. Hardwood frame,
jointed and pegged, including some re-used timber. Primary straight bracing in
walls. Arched braces to arcade plate. Face-halved and bladed scarfs in arcade
plate and wallplates. Arched braces to straight tiebeams each side of central
bay, bolted knees to other tiebeams. Joggled butt-purlin roof with collars at
half-bay intervals. Some of the mainspan rafters are displaced, but few are
missing entirely. Footings on the NW side replaced and concreted, other
footings original, of red brick.
