C17 and earlier house on an L-plan. Of 2 storeys, with short range higher
in the ridge than the long range. Stock brick front, visible above modern
front single storeyed addition. Inner return of the building less altered.
Roofs ridged, gabled and peg-tiled, timber framed and plastered rear elevations
with small paned wooden casements in a range of 5 round and return. A
conoid roofed, peg tiled porch in the angle with modern door, on ground
storey. Inside: a 2 bay timber frame of the C15 with joists having housed
shoulders, also a C17 ovolo moulded casement, in situ, in saloon bar.
