C17 double L-shaped building. Timber-framed, refaced in brick now painted.
Hipped tiled pot. Casement windows throughout, 3 windows facing south, 3 windows
facing east. Simple doorcase. One of the ancient manors. Henry VIII gave
the Manor to Sir Christopher Hales, his Master of the Rolls and it descended
in the hands of the Colepeper family.
