One building. C18 exterior to a timber-framed building. Two storeys 5 windows.
The ground floor is faced with brick, now painted, above with plaster and imitation
timber-framing. Hipped tiled roof. Casement windows and horizontally-sliding
sash windows on the first floor. Modern windows on the ground floor. Ivy Cottage
is the left hand bay only and has a half-hipped end gable and one sash with glazing
bars intact. The Chequers Inn has chamfered beam and some genuine late C16 to
early C17 mainscotting in tile bar.
