Built in 1916 by T E Tiffin. Presented by Andrew Carnegie. 1 storey red brick
with stone dressings. Hipped slate roof having central octagona1 cupola with dome.
This has double pilasters and round-headed windows, urns at the corners and swag
moulding to the base. Central open pediment with cartouche of Kent and swags supported
on coupled Tuscan columns. Balustraded parapet. Round-headed doorcase with decorated
keystone. 6 fixed casement windows in all, 2 of them 3-light windows set in projecting
open pedimented window surrounds with Tuscan columns. Plinth.
