Former house, now shop with accommodation above. Early C19.
Brown brick; Kent clay tile roof, hipped towards street. Right-
hand lateral brick stack. 3½ storeys; 3 window range. Prominent
cornice below renewed blocking courses. Principal room to lst
floor marked by 15-pane hornless sash windows recessed under
round-headed arches divided by pilasters with panelled stucco
capitals; delicate lattice-work iron railings to balcony. 2nd
floor and upper half-storey windows under flat brick arches with
12 and 6-pane hornless sashes respectively. Contemporary
rainwater goods between Nos 18 and 20. ground floor with 4
debased Ionic piers surviving from early shop front, the rest
mid-C20 plate glass window set in opaque glazed surround. Some
sash windows to rear. Interior not inspected.
