At time of survey (July 1984) there are 3 properties within a few hundred yards,
all known as Hallsenna; this property is the northern one of the group on the
east side of the track. House, bank barn, and stables. Mid C18 with later
additions and alterations. Snecked rubble with quoins. Graduated slate roofs
with stone ridges, copings, and kneelers; end chimneys to house. 2 storeys
(house originally single-storey). Main part of house symmetrical, 3 bays:
Central part-glazed door with tripartite sash to either side on each floor;
lower single-bay extension, set back adjoining north end, has sash to each floor
and lean-to porch. All openings have stone surrounds. Large bank barn adjoining
to south; originally 3 bays, one bay added. Wagon entrance to 1st floor rear; 3
plank doors and 2 small windows to ground floor front; winnowing door and vent
slits above. Steps against south return lead to rear; arch over steps links
dovecote to barn. 3 plank doors with 2 small doors and brick dovecote openings
above.
