House. Probably late C17 with C19 addition. Stone rubble, limewashed to
south. South elevation of two storeys and four bays, the 1st two bays taller, a
later addition. Ground floor has sashed window with vertical glazing bars
and horns to 1st bay; 2nd bay has small-paned glazing in former entrance;
3rd and 4th bays have casement windows, that to 3rd bay lights hall, with
light to left of mullion and dripstone over. 1st floor has sash to 1st
bay and small casements to 3rd and 4th bays. Entrance with plank door to
3rd bay. Three gable-end stacks, that to 4th bay projects. Rear has outshut
under catslide roof and two raking buttresses; casement window and sashed
window. Property of National Trust.
