at Tissington Hall

GV II

Staff quarters and outbuildings. c1905 by Arnold Mitchell. Rubble limestone
with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roofs and four stone stacks. Two domed
cupolas with wooden columns and finials. Single storey with attics. Arranged
around three sides of a courtyard. East elevation - two broad, projecting, gabled
bays, the single storey part between without openings. The right-hand bay with,
to the ground floor, two 3-light recessed chamfer mullion windows. A similar
4-light window above. The left-hand gable with a similar 2-light window and a
similar canted bay window to the ground floor. Similar 4-light window above. Two
west gables with the roof continued on brackets over attic doorways.
