Farmhouse. C17, refashioned in C19. Limestone rubble with quoins, gritstone
dressings. Graduated slate roof with moulded stone copings and kneelers to
gables on east side. Projecting eaves band. Brick gable end and ridge stacks.
Two bays, extended to three in Cl9. 2 storeys plus attics. Two small paned
casements inserted into shallower, originally mullioned windows with hoodmoulds.
To west, doorcase with massive ashlar, chamfered lintel and quoins, surmounted
by hoodmould. Glazed panelled door. Above Cl9 window inserted into earlier
window and 3-light chamfered mullion window with small paned casements. C19
addition has glazed door with casements above. Attached garden wall in limestone
rubble with dressed coping, quoins and gatepiers.
