Tomb Chest. C15. Stone. Alternating square and rectangular panels, the former having
quatrefoils with enclosed trefoils around a square, the latter with shields and trefoils over.
Moulded plinth and slab, the latter with cavetto cornice. This tomb was recorded in the earlier
C18: 'At the south-west corner of the churchyard is a very antique altar tomb, but no arms or
inscription.' (F Blomefield, An Essay towards a Topographical History of.... Norfolk, 1739, Vol
V, p207)
