Church Cottage, Church View
and attached house to east

Two pairs of cottages, one pair now converted into single house. Early C19 with
C20 alterations. Gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins to east.
Stone slate roofs with stone gable end stack to east and one stone and one
brick ridge stacks. Originally two storied, single bay cottages. Church View,
to west, has C20 glazed door in raised doorcase. To east, 30 pane glazing bar
sash in raised surround, with similar window over. Church Cottage, to east,
has similar elevation reversed, except sashes replaced in C20 by 16 pane sashes.
Beyond, to east, the other pair of cottages, now one house. Two adjoining
doorcases to centre, that to east now blocked and cut flush with stonework, that
to west with panelled door. To either side, plain sashes in raised surrounds.
Above, two 30 pane glazing bar sashes in raised surrounds. Included for group
