Farmhouse and barn under one continuous roof. Early C18. Rubble gritstone with
gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof with a brick ridge stack and
a brick gable end stack. Two storeys. South elevation - house on the right. The
junction between barn and house is marked by a line of quoins. Central doorway with
chamfered surround, quoins and lintel, and plank door. To the right, a 2-light
recessed and chamfered mullion window. Similar window to the left and beyond a
blocked doorway with stone lintel and quoins. Two 2-light recessed and chamfered
mullion windows above. In the kitchen a massive stone bressumer with coat of arms
in carved relief. Barn to the left with four doorways, two with massive stone
lintels, then a window and then a window within a blocked doorway.
