House. Late C17 plastered and colourwashed timber frame with
early C19 brick front block on lobby-entrance plan. Plaintile
and slate roofs respectively.
Timber-framed part of 2 storeys, masked on east side by early
C19 crenellated brick screen wall pierced by a 4-panelled door
(upper two panels glazed) and a late C19 3-light cross
casement. First floor with pargeted panels and a 2-light C20
casement. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stack to north.
West roof slope with black-glazed pantiles. South range of 3
storeys. Central 6-panelled door. One C20 top-hung casement
right and left under rendered and painted gauged skewback
arches. To left of each floor above is one similar C20
top-hung casement, remainder of elevation without openings.
Hipped roof with central ridge stack.
INTERIOR: cellar with wine bins.
Railings enclosing front yard consist of diamond-section
principal verticals and square-section secondary verticals,
all terminating in bobbin finials.
