Pair of cottages forming part of a row with Hares (q.v.) to one side and Haymore
Thatch and Town Dairy Cottages (q.v.) to the other. Mid C19. Brick, Flemish bond,
tucked to represent gauged brickwork; pantiled roof. Pair of 1-room cottages with
mirror-image plans. End stacks. 2 storeys.
Front: dormer window to no. 2, otherwise a symmetrical 4-window range, the outer
window bays being 2-storeyed bows each with 16-pane hornless sash windows to both
floors; inner bays with first floor blocked windows above the 2 front doors; doors
panelled, with semi-circular barred fanlights.
