House. c1660-90 with later additions and alterations including
front porch and rear range of 1972. Timber-frame on stone
plinth with brick nogging and plaster infill; plain tile roof
and off-centre right renewed brick stack. Small square panels
of timber frame, renewed to right part of front facade, but
continuing to right return.
EXTERIOR: one-and-a-half storeys, 3 bays, with ranges to rear.
Entrance to left a C20 plank door. Mid-C20 casement windows
throughout and two attic dormers. Right gable wall retains 3 x
6 square frames, renewed in gable.
INTERIOR: noted in 1983 List as having wooden date-tablet over
fireplace inscribed 'IAH 1690'. reputed to have beam dated
1660.
