Archway in landscaped park by Sir James Hamlyn. Probably early C19. Coursed rubble arch with rustic wooden brackets under the arch head. The archway set over a cleft in the rocks, through it passes a pathway to a viewing-place situated right on the cliff edge with a prospect out to sea.
Part of the landscaped park created by Sir James Hamlyn around Clovelly Court in the
late C18/early C19.
