House. C17 with C18 east wing. Witchert, colourwashed and rendered on
a rubble plinth with brick quoins to right of front elevation. Old tile
roofs. Main range of 2 storeys plus attic and 2 wide bays, crosswing of
1½ storeys projects to west with brick gable above band course. East
wing continues crosswing and is 2 bays and 1½ storeys. Gabled
wing has 3-light leaded casements and 2-light window in return. Main
front has left hand bay with door and 3-light casement above. Further
casements to rear, and rear wing has two 2-light ground floor casements,
and 2 gabled 3-light eaves dormers. All windows leaded. Main range has
C17 north stack of old thin bricks and cornice cap. South gable has
rubblestone stack, weathered to the east and with brick flue. Interior:
Chamfered and stopped spine beams to ground and first floor ceilings. Stone
fireplaces to ground floor with depressed plain arches. Curved principle
trusses to C18 wing.
