Pair of houses. C17 with traces of earlier building, altered. 4 bays
to left are roughcast and whitewashed, 2 bays to right of thin brick
with rendered plinth. Old tile roofs, C17 brick chimney with grouped
shafts to centre of No.1, C20 brick chimney to right. One storey and
attic, 6 bays. Upper windows are in gabled eaves-line dormers. No.1,
to left, has 4 bays of irregular wooden casements. No.5 has 2 bays
with C20 4-pane sashes to ground floor and wide 2-light barred wooden
casements above. C20 board door between left bays,C20 panelled door
between right bays. Ground floor openings to No.5 have segmental heads,
that over door altered. No.5 has remains of cruck truss between right
bays.
