Cl7 timber framed house refronted Cl8 in chequered red and grey brickwork.
3 storeys, tiled gabled roof behind parapet with ogee curves of Dutch gable
type either end. 4 flush sash windows with glazing bars and cambered relieving
arches. Moulded bands at eaves and floor levels. Cement rendered plinth.
Half glazed door on left has cut bracketed hood. Similar door on right has
surround of slim pilasters, frieze and cornice. Former parish workhouse,
later Chesham Grammar School.
Nos 33 to 37 (odd) form a group.
