1st half of C18, perhaps formerly one house. Plum coloured brickwork with
red brick dressings. 2 storeys and attics, moulded plinth, moulded stringcourse
at 1st floor level, modillion and moulded roof cornice. Brick pilasters
at corners, hipped old tiled roof. 8 bay front, segmentally headed flush
sash windows with glazing bars. 2 doors each with 6 panels, 1 in 2nd bay
from left hand has fielded panels and architrave surround with panelled
pilasters under boldly carved scroll brackets supporting cornice and
segmental pediment, pulvinated frieze between brackets. The 2nd door,
in 4th bay from right hand, has architrave surround under cut brackets
and delicate dentil cornice hood. 3 pedimented sliding casement dormers,
central pediment segmental. Irregular back north west wing of flint rubble
and red bricks with elaborately bracketed dentil cornice. Late C17 or
early C18. Interior?
Nos 43 to 47 (odd) form a group.
