Circa 1850 long, low, 2 storey block with some later cl9 alterations. Painted and
stuccoed brick. Low gable end slate roof. One glazing bar sash window and 4 later
C19 canted bay windows with hipped slate roofs and finials, on lst floor. 2 double
pilastered shop fronts with common frieze and blind box, on ground floor. Doors in
splayed recesses to centre of each shop front. Included for group value.
No 43, The Maltsters Arms, Nos 49 and 51 form a group.
