House. Dated IH 1702 on brick plaque to centre, altered C19.
Chequer brick with vitreous headers, flint plinth, boarded wooden
eaves, old tile roof and brick chimney to left. 2 storeys and
attic, 2 bays. Partial first floor band course. Ground floor
windows altered early C19 to 4-pane sashes with flat brick arches. First
floor windows altered later C19 to 3-light wooden casements with
single horizontal glazing bars, shaped heads to each light, and whitewashed
board voussoirs. 2 hipped dormers with paired barred wooden casements
re-inserted 1972. Central C20 half-glazed door in whitewashed render
surround. Whitewashed brick and weatherboard lean-to set back to left;
C20 lean-to conservatory to right; C19 whitewashed brick rear wing.
Interior: roof has curved wind-braces and heavy purlins.
