Three headstones, east of the Church of St John the Baptist

(i) Headstone, Thomas Woods, 1768. Limestone, probably Ketton. Rococo. S - and C - scrolls enclosing a glory above a panel with inscription in Gothic, Italic and Roman lettering with egg and dart border. The base is rusticated. This headstone shows similarities with those of Samuel Andrews of Wisbech.
(ii) Headstone, John Golding 1803 and Elizabeth, his wife, 1777. Neo-classical. Shaped head with seated figure of Hope with anchor, an urn, winged cherub's head, flowers and foliage above a circle, segmented horizontally, the upper segment with inscription to John Golding, the lower to Elizabeth.
(iii) Headstone, 1804. Limestone, probably Ketton. Shaped head with Father Time and his emblems of scythe and hour glass and a small oval plaque with portrait of deceased above a skull. Below is circular panel, segmented vertically with flowers above and foliage to lower spandrels.
