Village hall formerly the Reading Room, built in memory of
'Charles Porcher, Lord of the Manor 1887', inscribed on stone
plaque. Red brick. Slate roof. One storey, four 'bays'
divided by brick pilasters with small gabled porch and facade
gable to two central 'bays'. Two, three-light casement windows
with diagonal cast iron lattice glazing bars and gauged brick
arches. Pair of single light windows in gabled 'bay'. Boarded
entrance door. Two rear stacks.
