Pair of late C18 houses. Local brown brick; slate roof with
tumbled parapet gables and end stacks. Two storeys with attics
and basements (basement windows cut into brick plinth). Two
flat roofed dormer windows. Two first floor blind windows and
two, C19, four-pane hung sash windows in red gauged brick
arches. Red gauged brick band at first floor, red brick
quoins. Two ground floor windows with twelve-panes in red,
gauged brick arches, flank pair of doorcases with deep reveals,
and blind round-headed fanlights. Six-panelled doors. Stone
steps to street with iron railings to basement forecourt.
Interiors have original chimney pieces and panelled side-
cupboards. Good butt-purlin roof.
