Probably medieval origin, and C17 but remodelled in C18. Large house in
coursed stone rubble with Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends.
Two storeys and attic. South garden front 3 window range: sashes with
glazing bars, keystones to ground floor lintels. Ground floor C15/16 chamfered
arch doorway, blocked, and 2 blocked first floor windows, one with remains
of stone frame. Three C18 hipped dormers with leaded panes. End chimney
stacks heightened in brick, sundial on south wall.
To north is gabled wing with small lancet opening and blocked rectangular
window above north stone frame. Also on north side is a late C19 wing.
Between the wings is early C19 brick infill with sash windows and panelled
double doors and wood trellis porch.
