House. Late C17 - early C18. Red brick, now cement rendered, on plinth with
original roof now covered with interlocking tiles. Parapetted gable ends and
flush end stacks and a ridge stack, partly rebuilt above the ridge. Two
storeys with four C19 twelve pane flush frame hung sashes. Cambered arches to
three similar ground floor windows. The doorway has a doorcase with an early
C19 moulded architrave and cornice with a narrow hood. Panelled reveals.
Part of the rear wall has been rebuilt. Interior: few remaining features
except for opposing front and rear doorways, stick baluster staircase
renewed. The ground floor room at the south end has exposed soft red brick
partition wall and main beam with ovolo moulding indicating a late C17 date.
The rest of the beams are boxed.
