Cottage. Early-mid C17 extended mid-C20. Timber-framed, plaster rendered
and longstraw thatched, half hipped with original red brick ridge stack and
two diagonally set shafts. Three bay and lobby entry plan. One storey and
attic. One dormer. Three windows, including two small casements. Doorway
in C20 porch opening to lobby entry. There is the date 1671 over the doorway
to the mid-C20 porch, and this may well be the date of the cottage. The bay
to the road is a mid-C20 extension of brick, painted and thatched.
