Earlier C18 cottage with later addition at east end. 1 storey and attic.
Double fronted with 2 windows. Norfolk reed thatch roof with gable end
to street, and central ridge chimney stack of red brick with yellow gault
brick alterations. Timber framed with pebble-dash finish and later brick
refacing of gable wall. Modern casement windows with leaded lights. Modern
boarded door. 2 storeys brick extension with pantile roof.

Nos 2 and 5 form a group with The Ferns, Berkley Street.
