20 yards north of
Wimpole Hall

GV II

Clairvoyee. Late C18, and mid C19. Wrought iron railings on dwarf wall of
red brick. In eight bays divided by stone piers and further divided by panels
of wrot iron C and S scrolls. The piers are surmounted by C18 lead and stone
urns including a pair of larger urns carved with the figure of Pan which flank
the mid C19 gates in the centre. The clairvoyee is said to have been designed
by Humfrey Repton.
