Early Cl7 L-plan farmhouse. Main range of two bays with lobby entry
and kitchen range to west of one bay. Later in Cl7 the kitchen
range was extended by two bays. Timber frame plaster rendered with old tile
roofs at two levels. Each range with ridge stack, the one to kitchen range
rebuilt. Main range of two storeys and attics. Two later windows with later
doorway in original opening opposite stack. Kitchen range has one small
horizontal sliding sash at first floor and two windows and door at ground
floor. Interior. Stopped and chamfered main beams and two inglenook hearths.
Wall framing with straight bracing and middle rails. The extension to the
kitchen range is open to the roof and has a brewhouse and baking oven. Roof
of clasped side purlin construction.
