Originally a timber-framed house with lobby entry and three unit
plan. Cased in C18 in red brick with plain tile roofs and
extended to the west by one bay, and to the rear by a parallel
range housing the bakehouse, brewhouse and sunken dairy. In the
C19 a cottage was built in the south-west angle continuing the
building line. Two storeys. Street facade; ridge stack and end
stack to west. Four first floor windows, one recessed C19 hung
sash window with glazing bars and two horizontal sliding sash
windows. Three ground floor windows in segmental arches, two
with C19 hung sashes. Two, four-panelled doors in plain
architraved doorcases.
