House: early-mid C19. Flemish bond orange brick with yellow
headers, Welsh slate roof and 4 brick chimneys. 2-storey 4-bay
front. Moulded stone cornice and low blocking course. 12-pane sashes
with flat gauged brick heads and stone sills. The upper windows have
shaped pelmets. 2nd bay has a projecting flat porch, with a fringe of
cast-iron of palmettes and anthemions, on thin iron columns. Behind
is a door with 4 fielded panels approached by 3 stone steps, contained
in a simple, wooden doorcase with panelled reveals. At the right end
of the house is an inserted but now blocked doorway.
Interior: not inspected but reported to be a very intact example of a
modest late Georgian house.
