Walls, gatepiers and gates: c1915 possibly by T H Mawson for F H Fox.
English garden wall bond orange brick with red sandstone dressings.
Wall divided by square piers with pierced Jacobean-style border at the
top, carrying moulded stone coping. Major gateways on west, south and
north sides, where the walls ramp up to brick piers. These are a
Greek cross in plan, on brick plinth with tiled capstones and ball
finials. The west side has a pair of wrought iron gates of plain bars
with a border of curlicues, lock rail and dog bars, with similar side
gates. Large semi-circular overthrow with scrollwork and the Fox
crest. Gate to the south similar to the central pair, but gates lost
on the north side.
